Resumo
River navigation in the northern region is extremely important, since most cities
are bathed by rivers, which sometimes suffer severe droughts and overwhelming
floods, because of this it is necessary to evaluate the vessels that navigate in this
region, aiming at their best performance. The present work deals with the
evaluation of the additional hydrodynamic mass of an oil tanker ferry along its
navigation route, where the modeling of a three-dimensional vessel will be carried
out in the Rhinoceros software and soon after analyzed in the ANSYS-AQWA
software. At the end, performing the evaluation of the results obtained by the
analyzes in the software, where 72 additional mass values were found and
reaching some conclusions such as the fact that the further the bottom of the
vessel is from the bottom of the river, the smaller its additional mass.
