Por um ideal libertário: literatura e guerra colonial em as aventuras de Ngunga, de Pepetela

Abstract

To speak of Angolan literature is to speak, among other things, of struggle, resistance cultural identity, memory and search for independence. In this perspective, the present work aims to analyze and discuss the importance of Pepetela's The Adventures of Ngunga (1980), of Pepetela, within the context of war and of Angolan literature itself, besides identifying the idealized the model of guerrilla idealized by the author, represented in the character Ngunga. A construction of the article allows us to broaden our views to the analyzed work in order to how literature tied and still acts in the (re)construction of the identity of a nation recently nation recently freed from the colonial yoke.
