Resumo

Landscape is a subject of study in geoecology that is based on the analysis of the potential of natural resources. The objective of the research is to study the natural and socio-environmental aspects, specifically geomorphology, hydrography, hypsometry and hydrographic microbasins, of the districts of Mocambo and Caburi, municipality of Parintins-AM, using geotechnological resources, geoprocessing and geographic information system (GIS). With the software QGIS version 3.28.9 Firenze, which is a free geographic information system tool for the production of maps, editing and analysis of georeferenced data. The program called Google Earth was used, which consists of satellite images obtained from various sources, aerial images and 3D GIS. The methodology will consist of the acquisition of cartographic data (digital format) from the websites of the National Institute for Space Research (INPE) and the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), the Institute of Colonization and Agrarian Reform (INCRA) and Data from the TOPODATA/INPE initiative. The use of the Geographic Information System (GIS) was essential for this study, as it allowed the physiographic characteristics of the Mocambo and Caburi districts to be correlated with reality through the creation of thematic maps.
