The inclusion of students with disabilities and specific educational needs in higher education requires institutional procedures capable of supporting academic monitoring, document organization, and student retention. At the State University of Amazonas (UEA), the Centers for Inclusion of People with Specific Needs (NIPNEs) play a central role in this process; however, part of their activities still depends on manual records, spreadsheets, isolated documents, and dispersed information. In this context, this work aims to develop a web system to support information management and the academic and documentary monitoring of students assisted by UEA’s NIPNEs. The research adopts an approach based on Design Thinking, articulated with Requirements Engineering practices, to understand the institutional context, identify needs, define requirements, and guide the conception of the solution. As a result, an initial version of GuideNIPNE was developed, covering functionalities related to the management of assisted students, academic links, listening records, PAAIs, and occurrences. The solution seeks to centralize information, improve the traceability of records, and provide a basis for the evolution of inclusive academic management processes at the university.
