Resumo
The present study has as its theme The Formative Process in the Study Group in Rural Education in the Pedagogy Course. It sought to analyze the challenges and possibilities of the study group on Education in the Field of the Pedagogy Course for the training of educators for the diversity of the Amazonian educational reality. The study was based on studies developed by authors such as Freire (1996), Imbernón (2009), Caldart (2011), Ghedin (2012), Silva (2017) and Severino (2017), among others. The study was carried out with a qualitative approach and a dialectical method of approach, with the support of participant research, following some strategies of the narrative interview. The subjects of this study were 08 (eight) academics and 02 (two) graduates of the Pedagogy course at the Center for Higher Studies in Parintins who participate and/or participated in the Multidisciplinary Study Group in Rural Education-GEMEC. As a result, the study points out that the training of educators in the study group on Education in the Field of the Pedagogy Course is dynamic, articulates theory and practice in Teaching, Research and Extension activities and uses significant methodologies, which enhance training of the members of the Study Group in the Pedagogy course. It was found that the objective of the study was achieved because the work was able to analyze the challenges faced by the members of the Study Group, evidenced in the lack of investment, the need for transportation for travel, the need for adequate materials for the development of research, because even though the Study Group is active, it needs funding and resources that enable a better development of research. Regarding the possibilities, the study concludes that the concerns in the study group awaken to a collective action plan, which contributes to the formation of critical educators who produce scientifically.
