A participação do segmento de transporte aquaviário no desenvolvimento do estado do Amazonas em 2019

Abstract

This study presents as the theme transport as an element of development of the State of Amazonas, but specifically waterway transport, seeking to answer the following problem: how did the participation of the waterway transport segment contribute to the development of the state of Amazonas in 2019? Having as general objective to identify how waterway transport helped in the development of the state in the period studied and specifics, identify the concept of waterway transport and the data on this segment. In this sense, therefore, this study is justified by the importance that waterway transport has as a modal in this region, where the flow of people and goods is predominantly by rivers. In addition to contributing with information for the development of our State. Using the inductive, quali-quantitative method, highlighting the authors' positioning and the increase in the total movement of gross cargo in the ports of Amazonas, in addition to important data from this segment. Finally, it is suggested to compare the participation of water transport from the Amazon with other states of Brazil.
