Redes de sociabilidade entre as comunidades no paraná do ramos e a cidade de barreirinha (AM): sistemas territoriais urbano - ribeirinhos

Abstract

This study analyzes the configuration of social networks between the Terra Preta do Limão community and the city of Barreirinha (AM), from the theoretical perspective of Urban-Riverine Territorial Systems (URTS). The main objective is to understand the interdependence between urban and rural spaces through the migration trajectory and life strategies of the Andrade family. The methodology is based on mapping material and immaterial flows, as well as classifying the intensity of family and productive connections. The results demonstrate that the classic rural-urban dichotomy is insufficient to explain the local reality, revealing a complex web of interactions shaped by strong kinship ties, the seasonality of the Paraná do Ramos River, and a hybrid economy that articulates subsistence, extractivism, and the market. It concludes that social networks act as a fundamental support for territorial cohesion, where urbanization repurposes traditional practices without eliminating them.
