Resumo
The present bibliographical study turns to the analysis of the paths of signification
of fictionalized memory in the work Os da minha rua, by Ondjaki. The research proposes a
dialogue where the role of memory is reflected in the creation of stories that would externalize the childhood
of Angolan matrix lived in the late '80s. In this sense, it was anchored in a choice
methodological choice from the contributions of some areas of knowledge and their relations
with the study of memory. It is also highlighted the study of Angola, under the historical and
literary. When intersecting memory and literature, it became clear that both are exponents able
of conducting reflections about childhoods, the individual and collective condition of a
community and the past, even close, as an expressive understanding of the present.
Keywords: memory; fiction; post-independence; Angola; Ondjaki.
