Polissílabo sobre Anjos: Uma Leitura da Poesia de Fiama Hasse Pais Brandão

Abstract

The present work aims to show that the presence of the image of the angel in the book Polissílabo sobre anjo, by the Portuguese poet Fiama Hasse Pais Brandão, is a constant, especially when understood as a messenger, a divine and incorporeal being. For this, a bibliographic method was used by which researchers, philosophers and essayists who deal with this theme are activated, among which the following can be highlighted: Sobre Anjos (2006), in whose approach São Tomás de Aquino seeks to demonstrate that these creatures can “be matter, which is pure power” (p. 36 ); Portugal Maio de Poesia 61 (1981), which presents an analysis of the poems of this group by Jorge Fernandes da Silveira; in addition to the Symbols and Philosophy dictionaries, respectively.
