Abstract

One of the major challenges of environmental issues is to address environmental issues in their entirety. The practice of environmental education and health in the school environment presents alternatives for the involvement of the whole school community with continuous actions and not focused only in a certain period. It is possible for the student to see himself in the role of contributing to the well-being of himself and everything and everyone around him, it is up to the educator to create and recreate means for this to happen. This paper reflects on environmental and health problems and preventive actions that students can work to minimize environmental impacts. The main objective was to evaluate the Nova Vida Indigenous Municipal School's knowledge about environmental and health care through films, videos and practical activities. Thus it was found that the school has the potential to work on environmental education and health because it is a school that is located in the countryside and has a natural landscape, but there is a need to create greater links with the community and even review your learning methods.
