Palavras e expressões parintinenses no cotidiano de estudantes do 8º ano do Ensino Fundamental em uma Escola Publica de Parintins - AM

Abstract

This work is based on bibliographic research and presents the results of an analysis made in Parintinenses words and expressions in the daily life of students of the 8th grade of elementary school in a public school of Parintins. It proposes a reflection on the linguistic variations of the locality spoken by the students and the Portuguese the standard taught by the school. This is based on the following theorists, Sergio Freire, Irandé Antunes, Marcos Bagno and others. For data collection, bibliographic research and field research were used, where questionnaires were launched in two classes of the 8th grade of elementary school. From this material were collected results of the analysis made in the questionnaires of the students and also in the interviews made with the teachers of each of the classes. The results indicate that the words and expressions are present in the classroom, however being worked in a less evasive way by the teachers, who are also responsible for teaching the Portuguese standard.
