Empresas de tecnologia financeira: uma analise a partir de bancos virtuais e o mercado de fintechs no país

Abstract

Within the technological revolution, the capacity of solving problems and supplying demands quickly and practically has been growing and it is in this scenario that the fintechs come up as an innovative and revolutionary model in relation to traditional banks. Those are startups that bring together finacial services to top notch technology, they’ve been standing out in the Brazilian financial system and in 2019 there are already more than 600 iniciatives identified by the radar FintechLab. Nevertheless, little is known about the advent and functioning of these companies, specially about safety, regulations, if there are any, and what are the advantages in relation to the current financial and bank services model, tradicional banks. Thus, the base goals for the development of the article are: what financial technology companies are, conceptualizing the fintech market and relate the financial technology market with traditional banks.
