To describe the epidemiological profile of acute cases of Chagas disease reported in the Amazon from 2010 to 2020. Methodology: this is a basic research with a descriptive objective and a quantitative approach. Its technical procedure is ex-post-facto. The research was developed using data available in the Notifiable Diseases Information System – SINAN. The variables included in the study were: municipality of notification, number of cases, sex, race, etiology, mode of transmission, probable site of infection and age group. The extracted variables were stored in an Excel database. Subsequently, these data were formatted in the form of a dynamic table, which allowed the extraction of graphs and tables that served for the presentation and analysis of the collected data. The program used for this analysis/treatment was Excel 2013. Results: 140 cases were reported, distributed in 23 cities in the Amazon. Manaus represents the majority, with 44 cases (31.4%). The most affected age group was 20-39 years old (32.1%) and the race with the most cases was brown (72.1%). Oral transmission was the main form of transmission, with 66.4%. Conclusion: this research identified the epidemiological profile of the aforementioned cases, from which it will be possible to study and establish possible disease control actions
