Resumo

Eugenia stipitataMc Vaugh is a fruit species present in the western Amazon region, which has antihypertensive and anti-diabetic properties, in addition to the presence of substances that act as antimicrobials and antivirals, such as flavonoids. Thus, this study aimed to carry out a study of microbiological and angiogenic evaluation of extracts of Eugenia stipitataMc Vaugh. The fruit pulp was lyophilized, macerated and then extracted with water. The fruit pulp was lyophilized, macerated and then extracted with water. A hydroalcoholic microextract was made to obtain the chromatographic profile. Microextracts were also prepared for microbiological and angiogenic evaluations. By analyzing the phytochemical profile using CCD, the presence of flavonoids, aromatic compounds and alcloids is suggested. The Eugenia stipitata Mc Vaugh extract at concentrations of 1000μg / mL, 500μg / mL, 250μg / mL, 125μg / mL, 60μg / mL and 30μg/mL did not present toxicity against Artemia salina. The extract of Eugenia stipitataMc Vaugh at a concentration of 1000μg / mL presented, compared to the bacterium Salmonella enteritidis, “weak inhibition”, with <25%.In the evaluation of antiangiogenic activity, Eugenia stipitataMc Vaugh extract at 100μg / mL concentration did not show antiangiogenic potential in the blood vessels of the chorioallantoic membrane of the chicken egg embryo. With this study it was possible to verify the chromatographic profile, antimicrobial activity, toxicity and antiangiogenic activity of this fruit species
