Resumo
To analyze the food consumption of pregnant women covered by the family health strategy.
Method: This research is an excerpt from a larger research entitled "Lipid profile of
pregnant women served by the Family Health strategy in the city of Manaus", which is
in the data collection phase. Applied, quantitative, exploratory, transversal and character research
descriptive, with a sample of 40 pregnant women. As an inclusion criterion, the pregnant woman should have
between 18 and 50 years of age and being monitored by the study team. You
collection instruments used were the pregnant woman's notebook, electronic medical record
citizen and questionnaire, whose analysis was carried out by the Jamovi statistical software. Results:
the timely start of prenatal care predominated with a value of 80%. Most pregnant women
reported unplanned pregnancy by (60%). Almost half of the pregnant women interviewed
were overweight at the beginning of prenatal care (42.5%). The fruits obtained a frequency
daily with 52.5%, vegetables with 42.5% on a weekly and daily basis, vegetables with
35% on a daily basis and vegetables with 52.5% on a weekly basis. Conclusion:
pregnant women were overweight and obese, started timely prenatal care and consumed
suitable for fruits, vegetables, legumes and vegetables
