Memória e Trauma: o comportamento da figura feminina nas narrativas contemporânea portuguesa.

Abstract

The present study aims to analyze the memories of trauma and the behavior off emale figures in the Portuguese literary Works Ema by Maria Teresa Horta (1984) and Desamparo by Inês Pedrosa (2016). The research analysis is supported by the theoretical thinking of Halbwachs (2006) on collective memory, the relationship between memory and history raised by Pierre Nora (1993), as well as the questions that Sandra Jatahy Pesavento poses between history and Literature (2003), in the representations of trauma are the studies Cathy Caruth (2000), in addition to the questions about genders initiated by Simone Beauvoir (1993), the fight against patriarchy and sexism by Bell Hooks (2022). They form the theoretical stage on which this study is based. The methodological approach applied is qualitative bibliographic, based on the dialectical method and comparative literature.
