Agroecologia em rede e o fortalecimento da agricultura familiar

Abstract

The production system based on the knowledge and traditional activities result in complex and diversified agroecosystems. In this way, it’s known that is indispensable to think in different ways of intervention in the region, further productive and economics aspects. The socioeconomic nucleus (NUSEC) of Agricultural Science Faculty of the Federal University of Amazonas, in the last 14 years, has been working intensively by extension and research projects for agroecological capacitation in rural community. In doing so, it has as goal to systematize the agroecological experiences of NUSEC as objective to elaborate pedagogical tools and products they will support participative process of strengthening family farming of agroecological purposes. The research with the communities were done in meetings, experience, and workshops in situ. It can be inferred that based on the results and evaluation of the experiences lived by the educating team we could get some lessons learned and point relevant aspects for the planning of agroecological units. The commitment of the people involved was one of the important aspects observed, because what is sought is the effective management of the agroecological unit. Key-words: Agroecological production.
