A variação de preço de hortifrútis durante a época das cheias e secas entre 2014 a 2018: estudo de caso da feira da Manaus Moderna no município de Manaus-AM

Abstract

This work had the goal of analyze the price variation of the food sector between 2014 and 2018 of the Manaus Moderna market in Manaus. Mainly the fruits and vegetables commercialization demonstrating how the flood and drought seasons of the Negro river can affect the pricing of products and local economy. Therefore, it was performed a explanatory research with a quali-quantitative approach and technic-methodological procedure as the bibliographic, documental and case study. The collected data was acquired through report verification and interviews with market workers, and afterwards, it was performed the analysis and data tabulation. The results obtained point out that the price variations occur in the flood as well as in the dry season and, in addition, they are affected by climate and cultural factors.
