Resumo

Providing healthy food for children is still a concern for parents and educators, since there is a large supply of food and attractive products that are not recommended for this purpose. Understanding that among the functions of the school is to contribute to the human and citizen formation, the formative experience was made with preschool children, through a learning project. The aim was to stimulate children, in a playful way, in the consumption of healthy food, raising awareness and developing beneficial habits of care with health and environment as well. In the pedagogical knowledge and activities field, the national and local legal documents that guide pedagogical practices in Child Education - DCNEI (2009), Semed / Manaus-AM Pedagogical- Curricular Proposal for Early Childhood Education (2013) theories that signal the guarantee of diversified activities that aim at the integral development of the child. The results show the paths covered, dialogued with the theory about the experience of different languages and how these are manifested in the process of development and learning of children. It emphasizes the commitment made by the family to guide the school education of their children and finally makes reflective considerations about the aspects and situations experienced.
