Resumo
Riparian vegetation or riparian vegetation play an important role when
preserved. The degradation of this type of vegetation causes damage to water
quality, which is the incentive to supply the survival activities of the population
and other species of animals that depend on the basin. The water quality
analysis through the Rapid Assessment Protocol (RAP) is able to efficiently
show how the disturbance level of the basin is found through riparian
vegetation, as the form of monitoring is done with the naked eye and can be
performed. by anyone who is properly trained in basin and vegetation
characteristics. Thus, PAR was used to evaluate the water quality of the
Puraquequara river basin, located in the eastern part of the city of Manaus,
Amazonas, Brazil, and adapted to the Amazon region. It was applied by four
evaluators at four points distributed throughout the basin every two months and
at the end an average of the PAR score of the four evaluators was performed.
The results show that the four PAR application points were classified into the 3
states (natural, altered and impacted) and that there were no significant
differences between the four evaluators' eyes. Points 1 and 4 were classified
natural and points 3 and 4 were classified as altered or impacted.
