Resumo
In this project, a study and development of a low cost and accessible electric energy
consumption monitoring system was carried out for any citizen who often cannot invest in a
system like this due to the high cost. This system has the functions of measuring the voltage,
measuring the current consumed, showing the power consumed by the system and also the
energy consumed in kWh. The surveys are carried out using voltage and alternating current
sensors, both with a high reliability and are widely used in industrial machines because they are
easy to use and are always available on the market. Among the sensors, the ZMPT101B voltage
sensor to perform voltage measurement more accurately and make the system even more
reliable. After all acceptances are carried out, the system sends these data to a cell phone
application or a computer panel through the MQTT protocol so that they can be accessed and
monitored by the user.
Through the development of this project, it was possible to create the prototype using a
protoboard to carry out the necessary tests and thus ensure the functionality of the device. It
was possible to create a test environment with loads of different nominal consumption for these
tests to be carried out. A schematic and layout project of the device board was also created to
improve the connections and ensure the reliability of the measurements carried out by the
system.
