Resumo
The purpose of this study was to analyze the experiences through the narratives of deaf undergraduates of the geography course /CESP-UEA. As specific objectives, it was expected to know some factors that contributed to the constitution of the teaching professionality of these subjects, teaching identity and challenges faced by them in their academic trajectories. Interviews were conducted with professors, deaf academics and interpreters of Libras CESP/UEA. On which we base through theoretical studies such as: Daroque (2011), Imbernón (2016), Lacerda (2006), Palma (2004), Quadros (2004), Silva (2000), Skilar (1997). These who bring through their research important issues about inclusion in the scope. The nature of the study is qualitative, with a phenomenological approach and support for narrative research. The technique for data collection was a semi-structured interview conducted with deaf people, teachers and interpreters. The survey results indicate that there are difficulties between deaf and hearing people with regard to communication, in addition, prejudice against the deaf is reported, difficulties in remote classes in the COVID-19 Pandemic, among others. In this way, it is expected, through this, to contribute to new research discussions about the Inclusive Education.
