O Festejo de São Joaquim E Sant’ana: uma análise sócio-religiosa e cultural do município de Autazes

Abstract

The present research analyzes the celebration of the feast of São Joaquim and Sant'Ana in the municipality of Autazes-AM, highlighting the symbolic meanings attributed by the local community and its contribution to the economic, cultural and social development of the region. The research is based on studies on popular religiosity, culture and identity and economic development during the celebration of patron saints in the municipality, using a qualitative approach methodology, with documentary, photographic and oral bibliographic research. Popular religiosity is one of the main elements that form the local cultural identity. The São Joaquim and Sant'Ana festivities stand out as an important manifestation of faith and tradition generations in the municipality, bringing together the community in celebrations that is more than a religious moment.
