Resumo
The present article focuses on the importance of the programs of
initial training programs for undergraduates of the Language course, future teachers of the
curricular component of Portuguese Language. For this we will discuss the Residency Program
Pedagogical Residency Program, taking this as effective initial training for insertion of academics in the classroom.
