Resumo

In this research, the study of differential equations was carried out. of mathematics in which students have difficulties understanding its applications. Thus, this research will problem situations in which the concepts of ordinary differential equations (ODEs) are applied. ordinary differential equations (ODEs) of the 1st order are applied, using the integral factor method method and/or separation of variables method to obtain the models. In addition to the calculations, a tool called Geogebra software will also be used to analysis by constructing graphs associated with the application models and and data simulation to evaluate the results. The approach is quantitative with the use of a descriptive strategy that aims to describe the two proposed methods for solving differential equations applied to the following problems: the spread of a disease, series electrical circuits, Newton's law of cooling, the flow of a fluid and the stability of a radioactive substance. stability of a radioactive substance.
