Literatura indígena no festival folclórico de Parintins: vozes e narrativas de resistência e identidade.

Abstract

The article investigates the presence of Indigenous Literature in the songs (toadas) of the Parintins Folkloric Festival, highlighting its role in cultural resistance and the affirmation of the identity of the original peoples of the Amazon. The qualitative research analyzes song lyrics, interviews, and participant observation, revealing themes such as ancestry, environmental preservation, and indigenous rights. In addition to exploring the historical evolution of boi- bumbá, the study concludes that the festival is consolidated as a space for cultural and political expression, ensuring the perpetuation of indigenous narratives in the national scene.
