Resumo
This work proposed the construction of a microcontrolled device using the Arduino
hardware and software platform, with the objective of obtaining data on surface measurements
and profiles of atmospheric variables that are accessible to researchers and the population in
general, especially rural producers, which carry out activities in which climatic and weather
factors play an extremely important role. During the project, some sensors were also used, such
as relative air pressure, humidity, temperature, luminosity and soil moisture, thus composing a
small, low-cost meteorological station. In order to guarantee the station's ability to acquire
accurate and reliable data, laboratory tests were carried out and in order to substantiate the
project, research was carried out on the operation, the structure of meteorological stations and
equipment used. Manual tests were also carried out for data collection and comparison with the
results obtained from specific official institutes for the measurement of climatic measures.
Thus, it appears that the prototype generates reliable results for the user and its low-cost
implementation becomes viable when compared to other equipment found on the market today.
