Resumo
This paper presents the development of a remote monitoring system for biomedical signals, encompassing the stages of acquisition, conditioning, processing, and visualization of electrocardiographic (ECG) signals. The electrical activity of the heart, captured by the AD8232 sensor module, can be affected by undesirable noise, compromising its clinical analysis. To mitigate these effects and ensure signal quality, two digital filtering techniques were applied: Finite Impulse Response (FIR) and Infinite Impulse Response (IIR), using MATLAB software, with the goal of comparing their performance in noise attenuation and the preservation of relevant ECG information. Additionally, software was developed for real-time visualization of processed signals, enabling potential applications in telemedicine. The results demonstrated that the implemented digital processing techniques were effective in significantly reducing noise in the signal, highlighting the importance of these approaches for extracting reliable ECG information and ensuring accurate diagnosis.
