Resumo

To verify the production of knowledge about teaching fights in school Physical Education. Methodology: An integrative review was carried out with scheduling of articles using Google Scholar and Portal Periódicos Capes as a database, initially bringing a total of 126 articles, with respectively 102 and 24 articles from the from the aforementioned search bases. Results: A total of 8 articles were retrieved, which were categorized into two axes of study: Student perspective on learning fights and Teacher training in teaching fights; From the selected studies, it was found that many students have mistaken perceptions about fights, associating them predominantly with violence. Furthermore, the initial and continuing training of teachers in relation to teaching fights is insufficient, which negatively impacts the pedagogical approach to these contents in schools. Final considerations: The need for more research and studies on the teaching of fights in school Physical Education becomes evident, aiming to fill the existing gaps in continuing training for teachers and the detachment of fights from the association with violence
