Resumo
In this article, we present the results of an autobiographical research developed in the scope of the Course Conclusion Work (TCC), by a deaf student of the Mathematics Degree at the Center for Superior Studies of Parintins (CESP), with the general objective of analyzing the needs that arise. on the relationship between mathematics and Brazilian Sign Language (Libras) during the education of a deaf teacher. The methodology used is qualitative and for the construction of the data was based on the researcher's narratives about the challenges faced throughout his schooling process, especially about the mathematics teaching he experienced. The results indicate that there is still a lot to be done for inclusive education to really happen and that it is necessary for the educational community to promote knowledge and integration among deaf peers, teachers and interpreters.
