Análise de adequação e usabilidade de vídeo para enfermeiros sobre o banho de ofurô em recém-nascidos prematuros

Abstract

Objective: to analyze the adequacy and usability of an instructional video for nurses about hot tub bathing in premature newborns. Method: technological development study, with emphasis on the adequacy and usability analysis of an educational technology, conducted with 20 nurses from three maternity hospitals in Manaus, Amazonas. Data collection took place between January and February 2023, by applying an electronic form adapted from the Suitability Assessment of Materials and the System UsabilityScale. The data were organized and systematized in the Excel program. The adequacy of the video was estimated by calculating the final score of the Suitability Assessment of Materials and the agreement between the participants' answers was measured by the Kappa coefficient. The analysis of the usability of the material was obtained by the total score of the System Usability Scale. Results: the video obtained the final score of the adequacy analysis equal to 87.7% and the usability score of 93.5%, being considered adequate to be used in training nurses who work in neonatal units. Conclusion: the video has the potential to contribute to the implementation of the humanization of care for premature newborns in maternity hospitals, through the qualification of nursing professionals
