As pastorinhas como elemento de formação cultural - um resgaste memorialístico

Abstract

The present work entitled “The Pastorinhas as an Element of Cultural Formation: a Memorialistic Rescue” presents a brief study on the dance or ballet of the Pastorinhas, in Tefé, Amazonas. The theme conceived as an element of cultural formation alludes to the popular dance tradition and its constituted signs, languages and symbols. The Pastorinhas, conceived as a cultural manifestation that strongly influenced the cultural and artistic formation of the Amazonian people, today, practically, is in disuse in the municipality. Thus, impregnated in the memory of our experiences, the memories of this artistic-cultural dance highlight the importance of the memorialistic rescue to legitimize the process of identity construction and the preservation of the cultural roots of society of Tefé. In this sense, the general objective of the academic study is to present a memorialistic rescue about the ballet of the Pastorinhas, above all, through the reports collected in the city of Tefé, in Nogueira, in Manaus, in Amazonas. Among the specific objectives, the following stand out: to present different concepts about the term Culture; present the structure and intrinsic elements of the Christmas dance the Pastorinhas, in addition to presenting a reflection on the importance of Pastorinhas for the cultural formation of the society of Tefé. The work had as methodological outline the bibliographical research, and the oral History, and the instruments used for the data collection were the application of questionnaires and the of interviews, duly authorized. The results confirmed the importance of the ballet of the Pastorinhas for the cultural and artistic formation of former participants and dancers. Therefore, the Pastorinhas constitute an element of great relevance for the expression and cultural formation of the people of Tefé, since it was evident that it is essential to rescue and value this cultural manifestation
