The plastic injection molding process is widely used in various industries, but the final
product quality is influenced by several factors, including the mold design. Injection
simulation is a key tool to ensure the efficiency and quality of the molding process,
allowing the identification of common problems such as weld lines and deformation, as
well as the evaluation of different scenarios, which reduces costs and time for new
product development. In this context, this work aims to analyze the efficiency of the
cooling system in a four-cavity mold, using injection simulation with the CAE
Solidworks Plastics software. Two cooling systems were tested, one in series and one
in parallel, and the degree of deformation caused by each system in the part was
verified..
