Resumo
This work aims to investigate my training path in Stages I and II, seeking to
elucidate the extent to which the experiences lived in this internship environment contributed
to my training and understanding about reading paradidactic books in the early years of
elementary school and the its potential to awaken interest in science in the child subject, since
during my trajectory in the pedagogy course I realized the importance of awakening science
in children, because it is in science, in scientific research that we will find the answers to
many things, be it in caring for the planet, the environment, progress in cities, technologies
and especially health. At this moment when we were surprised by a pandemic of a virus
totally unknown to the scientific community, it shows even more, how much in the sciences
we can seek our answers and save lives. And it was in the paradidactic books that I saw a way
to involve children in science. These books are usually colorful, with stories aimed at various
interesting content for students to read and that certainly some of these subjects will attract the
student's attention and that some content can be extracted for science, as well as the book The
Little Prince that was the focus of my work. This work is developed in narratives, both from
my memories during my journey at the university, my experiences and learning in the course
subjects and which aroused my interest in the sciences, as well as what was observed during
my journey in schools during internships I, II and also the narratives of teachers Agna Freitas,
Ana Valéria and Genira Oliveira, who contributed with their experiences on the use of
paradidactic books. So I hope that this work contributes to arouse interest for science in the
classroom
