The general objective is to investigate the history of the construction of the São Joaquim and Santa Ana Mother Church in Autazes-AM, emphasizing the
perceptions of local residents regarding this material heritage. The research also presents, through a historical approach, the social, religious, and cultural processes related to the formation of the local community and the consolidation of Catholicism as a structuring practice in regional daily life.
