Benefícios da utilização do objectives and key results (OKR) em diferentes áreas de aplicação

Abstract

Increasingly, society finds itself in a faster evolution, where information tends to become obsolete with greater speed. In the organizational context, time becomes a competitive advantage. Therefore, it is necessary to establish more dynamic Strategic Planning that accompany this advance, aiming at this circumstance, OKR is seen as a methodology that meets this demand, as it is a framework that offers precisely one of these benefits: agility. In addition to the mentioned benefit, what other advantages can the implementation of the OKR methodology offer when applied in different areas? Taking this question into account, the present paper has the general objective: Recognize, through case studies, the benefits of implementing the OKR methodology in different areas when compared to the literature. This research is classified as exploratory where it was presented in the Bibliographic Research format, a systematic analysis was carried out from a selection of papers that addressed the delimited theme. In the end, it was possible to observe and classify the main benefits obtained by different types of organizations with the implementation of OKR, as well as the difficulties encountered so that they could not utilize the advantages in its entirety.
