Abstract

Public administration is of paramount importance yfor the development of a country, but it requires a high level of seriousness in its processes, without the proper planning inadequate strategies, many organs we are in serious trouble. To correct this there are several mechanisms available to assist in management, such as ISO standards, the implementation of a Quality Management System provides improvements and positive results. Thus, this article aims to assess the impacts that the implementation of quality standards has on a public institution, in this case AMAZONPREV. For this, the data collection methodology provided by the foundation itself was applied through a descriptive and serious analysis of the quality policy and its indicators. The result confirms the importance of quality standards and how they are needed in public administration actions.
