Resumo
The organizational climate portrays the reality of the company and influences the
performance of its employees. This study aimed to analyze the perception about
organizational climate of undergraduate interns linked to the Public Defender's Office of the
State of Amazonas, conducting a case study of quantitative nature, with descriptive and
bibliographic character, where an online questionnaire was applied based on the model of
Pimenta, Oliveira and Aouar (2012) adapted from the model of Kolb, Rubin and McIntyre
(1978), having a sample of 157 interns. After presenting some concepts of organizational
climate and addressing the management of people in the public sector, we sought to present a
diagnosis of the organizational climate of the institution studied. The main results of the
research were: a) the favorable climate of the institution; b) points for improvement in the
factors "organizational clarity" and "rewards"; c) proof of the effectiveness of the internship
program.
