Os sentidos da devoção e da comunidade nas celebrações da festa de Santa Terezinha no Aninga (Parintins, Amazonas)

Abstract

This article discusses the party in honor of Santa Teresinha, held in the community Santa Terezinha - Aninga, located in the Municipality of Parintins, Amazonas. In this way, it was sought through the memory and oral narratives of men and women, to list reports about the religious festival, the historical transformations, evidencing the importance of the festival in Catholicism, also making a brief report on the history of the community. articulated around the devotion and feast of the patron saint. The festivity in honor of the saint takes place on the last weekend of September and the beginning of October, becoming a moment of faith and leisure that strengthens community ties and makes it possible to bring some social groups together.
