Resumo
This research aims to investigate the contribution of psychomotricity to the acquisition of children's skills in the literacy process. Analyzing the learning difficulties that children develop when not stimulated so that they can develop integrally,because we know that psychomotricity acts positively in the educational process of children through psychomotor activities that enable integral development considering the three basic points that are: movement, intellect and affection.The objectives that permeated this research were: To understand the relationship of psychomotricity with the basic skills for literacy of children in Early Childhood Education. Identify psychomotor activities that contribute to the acquisition of skills for the literacy of children in early childhood education. To analyze the difficulties faced by children who do not develop literacy skills through psychomotricity. The authors who guided the research were: Ajuriaguerra (1983), Le Boulch (1983) and Nogueira; Oak; Pessanha (2007), as well as the others who contributed to the construction of this work.In the methodology we used bibliographic research emphasizing the important points of the theme, aiming at the importance that Psychomotricity has in the development of the literacy process, so that there is basic knowledge to develop the practice in the classroom.The subjects investigated were 15 children from the 1st and 2nd period of early childhood education and 2 teachers from early childhood education. The research carried out is of a qualitative nature, with the phenomenological approach method, using the instruments of data collection, the techniques of participant observation and questionnaire with the teachers.Thus, we seek to understand how psychomotricity contributes to the acquisition of literacy skills, which is the basis for the integral development of the child in the teaching/learning process.
