Resumo
The purpose of this article was to study the impacts on the perception of employees of a
corrugated cardboard packaging company after the pilot implementation of the 5S Program in
one of its sectors, seeking to analyze the level of acceptance of the methodology by the
employees and the the disparities between the quality tool methodology and what was
implemented. This study was made possible after research on the quality tool, 5S, and how its
methodology works. The data collected were obtained through interviews with the collaborators
with the purpose of understanding how the implantation took place. As for the objectives, the
way the methodology was applied by the employees and the influence it had on them was
achieved. After analysis, after the interviews, the items that could be improved were identified
and suggestions were made so that when the program was implemented throughout the
company, it should occur as assertively as possible.
