Resumo
With the rise of 4.0 Industry, the technology has taken over production processes,
automating processes and product quality. Among many technologies being adopted within the
companies, Automated Guides Vehicle – AGV stand out. These types of vehicles have been
widely used in the transport of parts and materials, increasing the efficiency and safety of
production processes. Therefore, the objective of this work is to develop an AGV prototype,
focusing mainly on engine power calculations and chassis construction so that the AGV better
adapts to the activity that will be submitted. In addition, a commercially sold AGV that meets
the requirements of the activities to which it will be submitted will be selected and a comparison
will be made. The final purpose, is to show that the developed prototype will also meet all the
requirements, but with a lower acquisition cost since it will be developed by the user
