Proposta de melhoria no layout do setor de produção de uma empresa no segmento de embalagens: estudo de caso em uma Empresa do Polo Industrial de Manaus - AM.

Abstract

The layout seeks to optimize processes and make them faster, organized and that they also make the activities performed by the employees of the various productive sectors easier. In this scenario, this study’s proposal is to evaluate and propose the internal improvements of the layout in a packaging company of the Industrial Pole of Manaus which needed a restructuring of its productive operations flow. Several technical visits were then made to the company, seeking the data collection which would find the root causes of the industrial layout’s problems. Quality tools such as Flow Chart, Ishikawa Diagram and Check Sheet were used to obtain a better understanding of the problem and analyze it in order to find a better solution. It was found that the disorganization in the layout of machines and the storage process causes the available manufacturing space to become limited and harmful to the production process. As a result, a new manufacturing layout was proposed, and its benefits and suggestions were explained to the company to implement it.
