Augmented Reality (AR) uses a camera to superimpose virtual elements on a real
environment, and can be used in several ways including as a pedagogical resource in
mathematics teaching, since it can be used with a mobile app and there are several available with
that purpose. The objective was to build a teaching-learning proposal using the AR Mathematics
application of augmented reality that stimulates the interest of students from the 7th Stage – EJA
at Corintho Borges Façanha State School in Tefé/AM in the study of Spatial Geometry. An
investigation in the school environment was carried out on the methodological practices at school,
following a pre-test that was applied to identify the students' difficulties and thus build a didactic
proposal consistent with the reality of the community, after a didactic sequence explaining the
content of polyhedra. Mathematics RA application was made available and manipulated by the
students, finally a post-test was applied to verify the dissemination of knowledge and verify the
stimulus that the app provided.Teachers had no knowledge of educational applications for
polyhedrons and therefore did not use them in the classroom, students in the pre-test did not
achieve good performance, errors predominated in most questions, after the didactic sequence
and handling of the app, In the post-test, there was a high number of correct answers as well as
an investigative interest on account of the students in handling the application. The research
demonstrates that the Mathematics RA application has satisfactorily helped the understanding of
the proposed content, being feasible in any type of teaching
