Abstract

This work presents research on the feasibility of implementing an energy management system in the building in a company in the graphic and cardboard sector in the Industrial District I, aiming at eliminating points where there is excessive and unnecessary use of energy and presenting measures to optimize -there. First, it will be clarified what energy efficiency is, what is the importance of its application, how ISO 50001 is linked to it, how the tariff groups are divided in Brazil, the impact of the industry in the current scenario of energy consumption and how the policy of the ESG is linked to it. Subsequently, the analysis of energy bills and data collection carried out from the survey of loads installed in the factory shed will be presented, focusing on the study of energy quality. Finally, a discussion and conclusion will be presented regarding the data collected proposing energy efficient improvements, together with the study of the economic feasibility of implementing such measures through the calculation of the net present value and the payback time of the invested value.
