A violência de gênero contra a mulher na pandemia da covid-19: uma análise de sua incidência na cidade de Manaus no período de 2020-2021.

Abstract

This research had the objective of analyzing the way in which effective access to justice is guaranteed by women victims of intimate partner violence, according to the human rights of women, wich is recognized in international treaties and conventions, taking into consideration the COVID-19 pandemic between 2020 and 2021 in the city of Manaus. Therefore, the methodology used in this research was the deductive method, which sought to analyze the concepts already constructed, perform a comparison with the various concerns on the subject and arrive at a logical deduction. As for the means, the research was bibliographical and documental, including a report produced by organs researched. As for the purposes, the research was qualitative, focusing on the effects of the pandemic on the dynamics of gender violence against women and the means of access to justice for women victims of violence in this scenario. As a result, the research identified that the rate of violence against women, in an intimate environment, during the 2020/2021 pandemic period, increased, due to the intensification of domestic life, the abuse of alcoholic beverages, as well as due to conflicts and we welcome the unequal distribution of work. About the access to justice, it was found that there was, in general, a decrease in the procedural distribution of domestic violence cases in the Court of Justice, in the biennium analyzed. Despite this, it was assumed that one of the researched organs of Court of Justice in Manaus – the only one that had an increase in distribution – provided several forms of access, including remote access, with the implementation of project such as “Maria Acolhe” – On-line e “Roda de Conversa com Mulheres - On-line”. As a result of the research, it was produced a guidance booklet, offered to women victims of violence, explaining the measures of access to justice by the victim, providing clarification on the violence, its form of identification, how to carry a complaint, and the judicial procedure.
