A identidade feminina nas letras de funk brasileiro: uma abordagem discursiva

Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the discourse on women in lyrics of Brazilian funk songs of Brazilian funk songs in order to verify which female identity is built in these lyrics. It is understood in this research - and this is justified by this - that funk is a product of the cultural industry and, as such, works to promote the main consequence of this industry which, according to Adorno and Horkheimer (1985), is to "reproduce people", that is, to seek a homogenization of the identities of individuals who consume its products. For the analysis of the lyrics, it was sought to make an articulation of the theoretical and methodological assumptions of French discourse analysis, developed by Michel Pêcheux, to some concepts of Foucault present in History of sexuality, since the funk songs are known for putting sex in discourse.
