Resumo

This research aimed to analyze the articulation and integration of complex care dynamics, present in the Psychosocial Care Network (RAPS) with other levels of assistance in the city of Tabatinga, Amazonas. The research is inserted in the context of mental health policies in Brazil and highlights the importance of a holistic and interconnected approach, according to the principles of Edgar Morin's complex thinking. The specific objectives of the study are: to describe the RAPS of Tabatinga, identify the articulation and integration with other levels of assistance, and understand the factors that facilitate and hinder this articulation. The methodology adopted includes interviews with health professionals, community and religious leaders, in addition to document analysis. The discussion of the results is guided by Laurence Bardin's content analysis and Morin's theory of complex thinking. The results reveal that the Tabatinga RAPS is made up of a diverse network of services and professionals, including basic health units, specialized services and integrative practices carried out by religious centers of African origin. Coordination and flow of users between levels of care are essential for the continuity of care and the effectiveness of treatments, but they face significant challenges, such as bureaucracy, the lack of qualified professionals and logistical difficulties arising from the region's geographical peculiarities. The research also highlights the importance of religious centers in identifying and addressing mental health demands. These centers play a crucial role in offering spiritual interventions and emotional support, complementing formal medical care. However, the dependence on these informal networks highlights the need to strengthen formal mental health resources in Tabatinga. Critical analysis suggests that the integration of mental health services must be approached holistically, considering the complex interdependencies and dynamics between different levels of care and local cultural contexts. The implementation of telemedicine technologies, the simplification of bureaucratic processes and the strengthening of partnerships between the formal health system and local cultural practices are recommended to improve the integration and effectiveness of services. In conclusion, the integration of mental health services in Tabatinga exemplifies the complexities and interconnections described by Morin, requiring an adaptive and collaborative approach. This study contributes to the understanding of local mental health dynamics and offers practical recommendations to improve the articulation and integration of RAPS with other levels of care, promoting more effective and culturally sensitive care.
