Falsidade material de documentos eletrônicos: deepfake

Abstract

In the contemporary world, new technologies always seek to improve and facilitate society's lives, incorporating innovations that provide efficiency, convenience and progress. Constant technological evolution aims to optimize everyday tasks and provide solutions that improve quality of life. However, society is not always adequately prepared to deal with possible unprecedented situations arising from technological advances, which may initially exceed expectations and the capacity for social adaptation, generating significant impacts and the need to implement regulatory measures. With the advancement and greater accessibility of audio and video manipulation tools, such as deepfake, the creation of false content presents a new risk for the valuation of electronic documents in Civil Procedure. Through extensive bibliographical research, we seek to understand the capacity and how Brazilian law deals with this situation.
