Resumo

In primary and secondary schools, educational technologies are being implemented for all areas of knowledge, including the teaching of history, where teachers can count on free educational programs, for offline use, of good quality and at the same time suited to your educational day-to-day. In this way, our research studied an electronic game, using computers, as a pedagogical resource for the discipline of history. With the general objective of analyzing how this educational software called Cabanagem can be used by the teacher in the teaching and learning of students of the 2nd (second) year of High School at a State School in the municipality of Parintins, providing a more effective and meaningful educational process. For that, we used a qualitative approach considering as a study phenomenon the teaching and learning process of the students together with the teacher acting in the present class. The research was exploratory with a descriptive character, with the objective of detailing the experiences obtained by the research subjects in the use of this educational resource of digital technologies, based on the conceptions obtained by the students and the teacher through the non-structured interviews, which were applied individually. The present research proved that the game has interactive and dynamic characteristics, and had a significant representation for the research subjects because it is a technological resource that brings in its plot information of a regional historical landmark that involved the state of Amazonas.
